Growth Marketing Manager

Downtime sucks. OpsLevel wants to make the Internet better by helping companies build more reliable and secure software. We’re building a Service Ownership Platform - starting with a Microservice Catalog - to make it easier for engineering teams to own and operate software in production.

We're an early stage startup based in Toronto, Canada. We're an experienced team of ex-Amazon, ex-Shopify, and ex-PagerDuty folks. We have paying customers and have seed funding from fantastic Silicon Valley investors.

We’re building a technical product, but our user experience is still paramount. We treat our customers really well and in turn we learn a ton from them.

Position

We’re a fast growing seed stage startup and we’re looking to hire our first marketer. We have some of the early building blocks on the go-to-market side, but are looking for someone with a strong product marketing background to help us grow the business.

Our product and engineering team is shipping quickly. We’re looking for a self motivated product marketer who is growth oriented. You will work closely with our founders to help us redefine DevOps to mean Service Ownership. You will own the strategy and process for product launches, own and drive our content strategy, and help us grow our top of funnel.


Responsibilities:

  • Product Marketing - Put in place a product launch process to drive awareness of new features for both customers and prospects. Work closely with the product development teams to refine our messaging and positioning. 
  • Growth Funnel - Define, measure and optimize the go-to-market funnel to drive revenue growth. 
  • Content Strategy & Execution - Own the content strategy and the resources needed, both internally and externally, to produce the content, including social media strategy. 


Required Experience:

  • 4-7 years of marketing experience at a startup or a fast-paced tech environment
  • Experience in product marketing, with an eye toward growth. 
  • Experience marketing technical or developer focused products.

Required Skills

This role is in a brand new function at the company, and we all have a lot to learn. As such we’re looking for an agile person who can learn very quickly, change tack quickly, and be able to manage various priorities simultaneously. They’ll also need to ramp up quickly to understand our customers and our space in a lot of depth.
